More information is out about this year’s Brand Safety Week, including early bird pricing that is available right now for interested parties. The event, hosted by The 614 Group in partnership with the Brand Safety Institute and GARM, the Global Alliance for Responsible Media is scheduled for Oct. 31 to Nov. 3, in New York City.

This year’s theme is “Brand Leaders and the Brand Safety Community: Moving from Transactional to Strategic Solutions,” and is touted as, “the leading place where companies transacting online demonstrate to the world that they are safe to do business with.”

The early-bird pricing runs through July 31 and enables proactive participants 30 percent off a variety of ticket-package options.

As in the inaugural event in 2021, the centerpiece of Brand Safety Week in 2022 will be the Brand Safety Summit on Thursday, Nov. 3. The all-day summit will feature industry leaders providing insights on a range of topics from across advertising, and is designed to focus industry attention and foster dialogue around brand safety, brand suitability, and brand sustainability.

Other scheduled events during Brand Safety Week begin with partner-curated events on Oct. 31, a track about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) on Tuesday, Nov. 1, that will feature leading influencers on the topic, with a brand safety awards gala to follow that evening. Brand safety leadership summits are scheduled for Nov. 2.

"In today's world, brand safety risks can change as fast as the news cycle, and advertising leaders need to adapt just as quickly, which is why Brand Safety Week is so critical," said Mike Zaneis, co-founder of the Brand Safety Institute. "Brand Safety Week is the industry's premier annual forum to gather top brand safety experts to discuss those topics and future challenges in the space."

Other events during Brand Safety Week 2022 will feature speakers from brands, agencies, platforms, publishers, and tech leaders; panel discussions; and educational sessions; with events taking place at various locations throughout New York City. A detailed agenda and schedule is coming soon, according to The 614 Group.
